Bless Me, Bowie is a new play written by Madeline Scotti for an initial workshop at the 2024 Playground Festival of New Student Work at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
The play unpacks a woman's lifelong attachment to rock icon David Bowie as he returns from a far away celestial body to help her find love again after a rocky breakup with her closeted ex.
Following the workshop, ‘Bless Me, Bowie’ is continuing its development and hopes to be produced again in the future.
