You Left Something is a short film about what we leave behind when things were supposed to last forever. The film follows a couple, Emily and Ben, attempting to return each others belongings following a long-term relationship. The film opens on Emily returning to Ben’s apartment for the final time to retrieve a family-heirloom ring, which she knows she left there. As her search turns up empty and Ben talks to the goldfish that once brought them together, tensions rise as the film explodes into a nightmare in which Emily discovers a bloody collection of rings inside Ben’s ear.
