Studio Series

Lear, Young Jean Lee’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear, reimagines the story of the three sisters who kick their father into a storm to explore the grief of losing a parent. The play grows more and more absurd as the reality of losing their father becomes clear, culminating in a recreation of a famous Sesame Street episode where Big Bird learns about death.
